#FRAPALYMO PROMPT TRANSLATION FOR NOVEMBER 28TH, 2018

Ah, aren’t these texts with the same first line magical? I always think it is a miracle how texts appear different and how our writing is differently impressed and accompanied than if we decide the first line ourselves. Thank you very much for these text gifts!

Tomorrow and the day afterwards is for another and the last double prompt for this poetry month and I am curious how you like this double!

The prompt for the poem on November 28th of #frapalymo is: „write a postcard poem“.

Postcards (you remember?) Do not offer a lot of space you have to keep it tight. If you send a postcard from your holiday you might give a couple of impressions of the place, if it is a card to cheer you up you might send a written hug and a get-better card sends wishes for good health. Which postcard you write, from.which place and with which intent is entirely up to you. Verse on the scarse space on the back the essential and send us your greetings! I am looking forward to it.

And as it is a double prompt November 29th asks us to write a kitsch poem. Then you can fully engage in Christmas exuberance, pink fluff world or anything else. This double prompt isn’t as obvious as “alone” and “lonely” or like “yesterday, today, tomorrow” but postcards can still be close to kitsch and the other way round. Again you have the choice to to connect both prompts or let them stand alone.

And the small print: please tell me via mail or twitter when you take part so I can tweet the link to your blog. Or put your poem or link in the comments under my poem of that day. It might be that I have to approve you for my comments first. Please bear with me in that case. The hashtag for Twitter is #frapalymo* and I am @fraupaulchen

*mainly German tweets

Just in case you wondered you do not need to take part with a German poem. Write it in any language you feel to write in. You can either let her know about your poem directly on her blog as is described in my translation or let me know via the comments here on the blog, via @Morgain620 on Twitter or via email: bee.halton[at]gmail.com.
